Hello!

We are a group of young people who are determined to bring a little more good into the world this Christmas time🎅

There are 8 of us; Matt, Annina, Toby, Emily, Jonny, Angela, Kathryn and Cam. We are about to embark on a "5k Santa Dash" challenge and we are looking to raise around £100 each.

All of the money will be going to a local charity who are passionate about helping and supporting vulnerable children.

People Orchard aims to pilot a 10 week after school club programme with a core aim to target children who have low self esteem & who internalise their emotional difficulties in order to make them feel valued and important.

The club aims to provide a safe and fun environment where the children can take part in creative and therapeutic activities, it is hoped that the children who attend these groups will gain

•A sense of belonging
•The ability to gain new friendships
•Improved academic performance
•More willingness to participate
•Increased self esteem and confidence
•Better relationships with peers and adults
•Better social skills
•Improved attendance and attitude towards school

The groups will be led by trained volunteers and resources provided by People Orchard.
