Young Stars Football First Academy is a community run football club which touches the souls of over 150 children in the boroughs of Barking & Dagenham and Redbridge.

This community club works 365 days a year to provide young children from the ages of 4 to 17, ranging from different backgrounds, genders, and abilities to thrive, be part of a community, gain much needed social skills and discipline. The club is integral to the social needs and sense of belonging to so many children.

The club cannot function without the dedicated voluntary work of Patrick and Michelle. Both of these individuals work tirelessly to help and motivate children on a daily basis and spend every moment of their spare time inspiring young children to be our leaders of tomorrow through sport and social interaction. They spend most of their time looking for ways to ensure the club is sustainable sometimes at great sacrifice.

Unfortunately, monthly subscriptions to the club only help to fulfil the basic needs of the Academy and any additional activities have to be ignored due a very low budget. For this reason, the club cannot reward children for their dedication, hard work and winning mentality over the last year. However, you can help change this!

We need your help to raise £2000 to provide Young Stars Football First with a Christmas Rewards Evening. This evening will act as a coming together for the entire club to celebrate its successes over the last year and to reward excellence of the many volunteers, coaches and most importantly children through the delivery of medals, food and entertainment. The funds will help secure a venue, help source catering and the purchase of medals to recognise every single child in a club that works tirelessly for the motivation of children, their parents and the local community.
