I am raising funds for my friend Hilary, who has been diagnosed with a rare form of ovarian cancer. She needs to raise £100,000 for life-saving immunotherapy treatment, as her form of cancer is resistant to conventional cancer treatment. She's been through three different types of chemo, radiotherapy and surgery, all to no avail. Immunotherapy is the only thing that can help her, but isn't covered on medical insurance or on the NHS.

So, to help her, I’ve decided to raise sponsorship by shaving my head at Clearbrook Village Hall on the 30th November at 7pm. Please be generous - each treatment costs over £8,000. She's a lovely lady and sole carer for her 88-year old mother.
