Bri, Grandad, Brian the Hat was known and loved by so many. The loss will leave a huge gap in our lives and affect us all in different ways. However that is, there is no doubt we will all have the most wonderful memories that are precious to us all and without him we would never of known. He lived life to the full, he loved immensely, and sang and danced until the music stopped playing for him. Smiles, love, and laughter were his legacy. You know the rules ... What he wanted was for that to continue and for us to celebrate the treasured times we spent with him. In honour of that we are asking for contributions in place of flowers to buy a memorial bench which will be placed in the gardens at the Marton Institute, for anytime you wish to spend a moment with him. Any other monies will be donated to the Sandycroft care home where Brian was cared for aswell as Brian's chosen charity. Thank you for all the heartfelt memories and messages you have shared, they mean so much.
The funeral will take place on Friday 11th June at 3pm at Lytham Crematorium, cars will leave the Marton Institute at 2:30pm. Due to Covid restrictions we are sorry that only 30 invited guests will be able to enter the church, the service however will be played to guests outside.
