I've raised £5000 to donate to The Icarus Trust and The River Reeves Foundation

In a few weeks time, we are heading to Las Vegas to run the half marathon on what would have been Max Faulkner's 24th birthday (13th November).
Max died in 2014 after struggling with several years of the effects of addiction. The Icarus Trust was set up to address the problems addicts face, as well as offering support to their families who are devastatingly affected by its consequences. They run rehabilitation programs as well as working in schools, promoting a positive and humanistic approach to life's core values.
In order to further the important work of The Icarus Trust, any donations, big or small, would be greatly appreciated, and in particular would mean so much to the Faulkner family.

We are also raising money for the River Reeves Foundation. On February 13th 2016 we lost an amazing group of young men in a car accident in Sweden. They were the band Viola Beach and their manager Craig Tarry. The boys were all good friends, Craig was also my manager and mentor. They were destined for great things and were some of the most passionate, driven, talented and lovely people I have ever met.
The River Reeves Foundation gives young people who aren't fortunate enough to pursue their talents the opportunity to flourish in the creative world. The Foundation helps them realise, develop and pursue their dreams as actors, artists and musicians.

As we bound through the Nevada desert, your support and generosity will spur us on.
Thank you so much, Meli and Oscar
