Story

Well here we go

Following in the footsteps of my dad and sister, for some reason I’ve been signed up for a half marathon in October. In order to get this poor little asthmatic to the end I would really appreciate some motivation in the form of support from you absolute angels for two charities which deserve every penny you can possibly give!! xxxxx

The 1st charity I’ve chosen is Parkinsons UK who provide care and support for Parkinsons sufferers, like my grandad whose Parkisons has been well controlled through the development of drugs through the work that Parkinsons UK do in terms of research for a cure! This charity is super important to all of my family and any donations you can give would be gorj! 😊

Secondly, I’ll be running for the MindEd Trust who work towards improve the mental health of younger people through changes to policy; improving education surrounding the topic and destroying the surrounding stigma as ‘prevention is far better than a cure’! The MindEd Trust was set up following the tragic death of Ed Mallen whom I knew from school – Ed’s death unfortunately highlighted the extent and reality of the mental health crisis to many of us locally, but also has made waves with the government nationally, and has been so heartbreakingly present throughout my time in education. Such an important cause not only to us locally but to young people and parents nationally so please dig deep <3

I appreciate a lot of us are students and loose Ps you have spare would mean the whole entire world <3

gracias mis chicas

P.S. The more I raise the faster I’ll run
