Story

After the gas explosion in Waun Las flats of Waunceirch on the evening of January 14th, Patricia Williams, was seen to have lost absolutely everything: not even the clothes she was standing in as they melted to her body. Personal and sentimental items cannot be replaced but a home can be remade with the help and support from her local community.

This page has been set up following the demand from people who have already offered so much kindness and willingness to help.

We, and Pat can’t express how forever grateful we are for the support we are already receiving.

Pat has spent her working life supporting those more vulnerable and in need. It is now our turn to give back what she has given to the community for so many years.

The cause is still being investigated however this will not help to rebuild her home. Pat has a long road to recovery, with not only her burns and physical ability but psychologically also. We are trying to soften the trauma by easing the financial pressure of creating a home and somewhere to start the rehabilitation process.
