I'm going to Koh Lanta, Thailand in the new year to volunteer at Lanta Animal Welfare.

It's a small charity with a mission to end the suffering of the hundreds of homeless, abused and injured animals on the island, and to find them their forever homes. Since 2005 they have treated and sterilised over 15,000 animals!

They also run an animal welfare education programme at local schools, because a lack of education is responsible for many of the cases of abuse and overpopulation.

Since its a small charity with endless work, and they solely depend on donations and volunteers to keep up this amazing work. Money will go towards :

Sterilisation
Surgery
Medical supplies
Medicine
Flea and tick treatment
Shampoos
Food and nutrition
Toys, harnesses and leads
Skin and eye treatment
And so much more.

It would be awesome to arrive at the shelter, not only with a willingness to work hard, but also with a donation.
