Greetings All,

I have been very fortunate to visit Waleleka Community School in Lusaka. I was really impressed by the dedication of the Brenda the Founder, the staff there, plus how much the children loved to learn in the school.
This school is unfounded, and as there is an extreme shortage of statutory school places generally for all children; so these children would not otherwise have the opportunity to attend school. There are also local orphaned children without the means to attend any school, which Waleleka is also trying to support.

The sparseness of the playground and very basic existing amenities for the staff and children, made me realise the abundance we sometimes take for granted here in the West. My 9 year old granddaughter has even pledged her support...

I would love your help for us support my efforts to fundraise for the school. It's not a drop in the ocean though, it's doing what we can from afar to guarantee a future for these beautiful children. Your help is crucial.
