Story
It has been nearly three months since Alex passed away abroad. After lots of hurdles and difficulties in getting him back to the UK, things are finally moving, and Alex can start his journey home. We want to try and raise funds to help Alex’s family towards repatriation costs.

This crowdfunding page will close on 7th July 2019. I would like to thank everyone for their kind donations and their generosity in supporting Alex’s family. It’s incredible that we achieved the fundraising target of £3,900 - the money will be used towards repatriation costs. The surplus money will be donated to the Lucie Blackman Trust who were crucial in getting Alex repatriated to the UK. Thank you and wishing everyone all the best. sabine

A special thanks goes out to Jana for his idea to raise money for Alex’s family by trying to get himself sponsored by his own friends for a 350 mile bike tour from Slovenia to Italy!
