Story

Hello, and thank you for taking the time to even consider reading my story today.

I am a single parent to two sons who are my world.

I have been struggling with ill health since 2010, health problems range from Chronic kidney disease (stage 3), left ventricular hypertrophy, Hyperaldosternoism, Hypertensive retinopathy, and depression.

Some of these health problems are managed with medication, and others are not :(

Anyway I am asking today if we could possibly try and raise something for my two children. They have been looking after me for months at home with simple tasks we all take for granted like cooking, washing and dressing.

I have been denied a carer as I'm apparently too young at 35 for one, and would have to pay. So my children have stepped in to help out as much as they can.

My children deserve so much recognition for what they do for me, and a thank you from me doesn't feel enough.

I understand at this time of year money is tight, and I am in the same position myself right now.

Even a small donation would be incredible, and greatly appreciated by myself and my boys.

Money raised will be used for a huge weekend of fun for my children and myself. My health has previously prevented me from making memories with them, they would be over the moon!

Thank you again for taking the time to read my story :)
