As all of you know I absolutely love my career, Hairdressing is my passion, my life, something I wake up everyday and am proud to be about. I love inspiring others and becoming inspired by the amazing industry of hairdressers around us globally.. yesterday I found out my career is going to take an incredible turn when I embark on a journey which is probably going to change my outlook on life forever. In August 2018 I will travel to the third world country in the Philippines for 2 weeks to help the lives of several young people living a life full of poverty and no hope. Within those 2 weeks I will help hopefully inspire and create a new life for them through hairdressing. I am part of a 6 week training programme to help these young people pick their lives up change their lives forever and most of all get out of the poverty they currently deal with in day to day life. This for me is the most amazing opportunity to ever be a part of and it still hasn’t quite sunk in yet. The chance to take something I’m so passionate about so inspired by to other people to give them a greater chance of life with people who have nothing is more to me than anything.
