Story
My friend Simon Nampaso and his wife Caroline leave their remote rural community, on the Maasai Mara in Kenya, at 3 am every day to get water from the nearest supply over 6km away. If they go any later all the water will have gone. Those that go later don't get any water.

There is water only 200m from Simon's home but it is 200m vertically down. We have already funded a hydrogeological survey which shows that there is good potential for a successful borehole. The pic is of Simon's neighbours on the day of the survey. They have a saying that "Water is Life" The pic below was taken during the survey.

When completed the borehole will provide up to 1500 people with water for themselves and, equally important for the Maasai, their animals.
I've known Simon for 10 years. This is him and son Godwill on his first day at school.

Simon is a local teacher who also works with the aid organization Compassion. He loves his Maasai community and will do everything he can to make this project work. He is an honest, capable man and I trust him to see the project through to a successful conclusion.
If you can help buy a few centimetres of borehole you will be directly helping some of the most amazing, resourceful, and resilient people on the planet Thank you!
