Susie was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease 4 years ago aged 48 and has declined quite rapidly but still wants to maintain her independence and to travel. Having a lightweight portable wheelchair would help her enormously to get out and about - shopping, taking Mutley, the dog, for walks, and meeting friends for coffee (or something stronger!). She also wants to travel to Japan next September and a wheelchair will help her to more fully experience what that country has to offer
