A beautiful boy; a solider was taken from a family that has nothing but love and respect to give to people. A boy that was 1 years old about to travel abroad, had to be rushed to hospital. A family being told their son, their grandson, their nephew will not pull through is living in hell but standing on earth. Humanity - that’s the reason I hold my hands up to everyone that’s reading this. Loosing a baby, a child, a little bundle of joy; how can life be the same for the family. I will fundraise, I will run marathons, I will continue to find ways to help and I will.

Towards helping the parents not having to worry about finances and letting them grieve right now, towards any memorial the family would want for Aakif and to help provide clean water in poverty struck places - this is what the funds will be used for.

Through Aakif - others suffering; the hungry without food, water or shelter - our beautiful soliders family will be proud that Aakifs short life has managed to help others.

Sepsis killed his organs. In 2 days Aakifs family was told a number of things - that he will have potential brain damage, they will need to amputate his legs due to the infection spreading and that they will need to try a blood transfusion that may not work.

Aakifs short life was written - he was too pure for this world but his name will always be remembered.
