I've raised £800 to help buy new training balls and kit following our break in.

In the early hours of Sunday 18th November 2018, at AALGIFC HQ our Football Club lock up was broken into.
Upon discovery that same morning, one of our coaches arrived to set up for that days group of matches. To his dismay he found that our padlocked container had been yanked open by a crowbar and the container in a shambles.
Our storage drawers had been pulled out, upturned and their contains strewn all over the place.
Upon closer inspection we discovered that approximately 40 brand new uninflated pink training balls, and several white Nike Strike match footballs had been stolen, which together are valued at approximately £600 alone.
In addition, brand new Mitre shin pads and many football boots donated to the club, as part of a swap shop initiative to help players avoid the cost of brand new boots, were also stolen.
The cost of losing this kit to the club is a significant blow and replacing it all will be tough. As a club we are devastated at the selfishness and heartlessness of these theives. Our girls, ranging from the ages of 4 to 16+ who play for the
club , are all saddened by this happening to them.
Not only does the club promote football for girls in the wider community, but they also work closely with schools to offer free coaching sessions for girls, hold inter-school tournaments, and often hold fundraisers for local causes.
"This break in does not only affect our club, but the whole local community. Without quality kit for our players, we would struggle to provide the excellent standard of football coaching and a great sport for life to many girls in our wider community." Says AALGIFC PR and Media executive Caroline Hewitt.
So please, if you can help us at all, whatever the amount, it will all help us to replace our much needed kit.
