Aaran & Kyran have decided to do a Kids Triathalon on Saturday 3rd June 2017 at Henly-on-Thames.

They are jointly raising money for two great causes close to our family's hearts.

In April it will be one year since the boys beloved Aunty Rajal lost her brave battle against cancer. The boys wanted to do something in her memory. Her last weeks were spent in St Lukes Hospice in Kenton. St Lukes is an amazing organisation that provides palliative care for people that are at the end of life and support to their families. They are a charitable organisation depending solely on donations.

So when the boys signed up for their first Triathlon they wanted to raise money for this charity. But also we could not forget what was happening to some of our dear friends; Martin & Aliki Buckwell and their 4 year old daughter Myla. In the summer of 2015 at the same time that their Aunty was diagnosed with cancer, Aliki was diagnosed with 2 malignant cancerous brain tumours. They tried chemotherapy and radiotherapy but it did little to help and Aliki was given just 3 months to live. Her husband Martin never gave up and began seeking alternative treatments. And so began an incredible journey of strength, determination and love. 18 months later against the odds Aliki is still fighting and making progress. Aliki currently requires constant care and treatment. The money we raise will support Aliki, Martin & Myla with the daily care and treatment she needs to give her a fighting chance and hope to beat this horrible disease.
