I've raised £2000 to St George's PICU to help them continue the great work they do for children that are critically ill.

This week marks Organ Donation Week, which encourages people across the UK and across the planet to talk about organ donation with their families.
Previously, this would have been another ordinary week. Actually, this should be a very emotional, proud and nerve racking week.
Our son Aari should be starting school and we would be excitedly taking photos of him in his uniform that is 3 sizes too big!
Tragically, Aari passed away last year and we decided to donate his organs, a decision for us which was fairly easy. Easy because, I asked myself, 'If one of my children needed an organ transplant, would we accept it?'. 'How would I feel if my child was waiting on a transplant list, not knowing if we would get the phone call, which may offer them hope and give them a chance of life.'
It would be an easy decision to accept an organ, hence it was the right decision to donate organs.
We would like to encourage people to consider helping those in need with the gift of life by signing up to the NHS donor register.
Organ donation week reminds us of how proud we are of our little boy, Aari.
Hopefully, one of the children who received his organs is having their photo taken in their oversized uniform. 👍🏽 ❤ ⭐ #proudy #Aari
