Thank you for taking the time to look at my justgiving page & if you have made a donation. Most of you know Aaron & know that he has already recently undergone major surgery. Its been a very worrying time for both him and family. To receive a call and be told that unless Aaron was operated on within the next 24-36hrs, he would die is just unthinkable.
Aaron suffered with ulceratis coilitis and a few other debilitating ailments picked up along the way. His immune system was depleted & he could not fight infections. He has been on various heavy duty medications to try to keep him well & had been in remission the past 6 yrs until feb this year when all previous medications stopped working. He fell ill & was admitted to hospital. They had to build him up before they could operate & then Aaron had his colon removed, it was disintegrating in his body and he was on the verge of going into toxic shock. For the past 6 months he has a stoma & bag attached to his stomach to enable him to function. The second, far more complicated surgery is due in August & will determine the course of the rest of his life. This will be another 12wks recovery time & after that, all being ok, he will have a third op in Nov to remove the bag and he will be able to function the best way that he can. As you know, Aaron' s passion is his music and he decided to follow his dream and do it full-time last year and went self employed. Although Aaron does get some little assistance it does not cover everything transport back and forth to the hospital every day and other living expenses. Things mount up & when you are self employed and you have no revenue coming in. Back in Feb a few of the lads put a package together as they did not want Aaron to have any worries whilst in recovery. He has got himself in the best place he can be both mentally and physically and is fighting fit, he needs to be for what lies ahead.
