Story

A marathon. 26 miles. It sounds like a lot - because it is. But somehow, breaking it down into 115 laps doesn’t feel quite so daunting. So on Friday 27th June, that’s exactly what I’m doing - running 115 laps around Central Park, Cowdenbeath.

It’s no secret that Cowdenbeath FC is facing financial challenges. Like so many others who love this club, I want to do my part. Cowdenbeath has been a huge part of my life, and I’ll do whatever I can to help, even if it means pushing myself to the limit. I already give everything I can in time and money, so now I’m giving the only thing I have left - my legs, my lungs, and a whole lot of determination.

I had the joy of taking my daughter to her very first Blue Brazil match in April, and it meant the world to me. I’d love for her to grow up making memories at Central Park like I did, even if her earliest one is watching daddy collapse on the stock car track after 115 laps.

So if you're a Cowdenbeath supporter, a football fan, or just someone who wants to see me suffer and stop drinking for a few months while I train - please consider donating. Every little helps, and it means more than you know.
