Story

In 2020, I was due to travel to Ghana for a second time, to help with a humanitarian project. In partnership with the Seventh-day Adventist Church a team of 60 volunteers from the UK, USA, Holland and Germany were due to fly to Ghana in April 2020, with the aim of donating to two orphanages, running a community health expo, resourcing a community hospital and renovating a school block.

Covid changed everything. The project was postponed for a year and I unfortunately lost my job. Things still aren't great financially at the moment. To go on this trip, I fundraised my fare which included food, travel, accommodation and activities. That fare has been passed over to this year, and I received my plane ticket recently from the organisers.

With this in mind, I am raising money to help me have access to a small amount of disposable income to use over there in Ghana. It's for a good cause and will ensure I don't find myself in a dangerous position, as it is unwise to travel to another country without financial preparation.

I'm willing to do sponsored walks and photography. Ideally, I would like to raise £2 for every mile I walk. I am seeking work and exploring other options, so as to not to solely rely on this fundraiser.

I am due to fly out to Ghana on April 1st 2021.

Please help me go to Ghana and fulfill my mission.
