Hi,

My name is Jules and I have a friend, his name is Aaron. We have been friends since we were 11years old. We did everything together, spent weekends together, holidays together, you name it.

As we got older, our lives took up on different paths but we never lost touch.

One day, everything changed, I got a phone call in the middle of the night to tell me that Aaron had been in a car accident and it was pretty bad.

To cut a long story short, Aaron was in hospital for many months and he was left paralysed from the chest down.

Fastforward 11years and my oldest friend is struggling to raise funds for a standup wheelchair. He has had to adapt to a whole new way of life. Being disabled has been a huge financial strain, not to mention the emotional rollercoaster, the loss of independence for a young man and the physical restraints.

Aaron is either bed or wheelchair bound which for long periods of time can cause painful bedsores.

He has spoken to me about this new wheelchair that will assist him to stand up which will relive the pressure and ease pressure sores.

I have made it my mission to raise funds for him to help him get this wheelchair and to ease the pain and discomfort that he will face for the rest of his life.
