Story
My son Aarush is doing Snowdonia trek to raise money for Children living with AIDS. All the funds raised will be donated to Desire Society who work in this area.
Over 2 million people in India are currently infected with HIV. According to Health Ministry of India nearly 70000 children living with HIV/AIDS. 70% of the children lose the parents to the disease. These children not only have to live without love and support of a parent but they have to find their own way through uncertainty.
There is very little government support to fund programs and NGOs working in this area. Charities like Desire Society and operating solely with the volunteers help and donations from the public.
