Story
Now, more than ever the world needs our help, kindness and loving in our conduct to enable us a closer step to global peace. The Snehalaya project holds beneficiaries which are victims of human trafficking, sexual violence, homophobic abuse, HIV and more! In the UK, we have unlimited resources which are free that can help us to recover from trauma, illnesses and a legal system which enables us to be protected from those that have hurt us. Here in India, as well as many other places in the world, it is not the same case. The opportunity to raise funds, use my free time to go and ensure these victims get on a path to serenity is at my feet. I will be delivering teaching lessons to these, supporting and hearing these beautiful souls out with my love. As an aspiring human rights advocate & lawyer - I want to take the practical approach by seeing the real victims of global human rights breaches and taking action and matters into my own hands. In the process running unto my departure, I will be participating in the Leeds Half marathon in May! Join me on my journey.
