    Story

Hi, we are Abbie, Lucy and Lili and we are going to Ghana in July 2019. Our trip is part of the Akenkan project which was founded by the Head of English at our school. The project aims to increase literacy and access to story books in schools in rural Ghana. As part of the trip we will be setting up a week long summer school where we will become teachers to classes of Ghanaian children. In addition we are, together, currently writing and illustrating a children's book. We are having the book professionally printed and we will deliver it to the Ghanaian children when we are out there.

To raise money to pay for our trip the three of us, together, are 'exercising' the air distance between England and Ghana of 5100.5km by rowing, running, cycling etc. Any donation that you are able to make for our trip would be wonderful and we thank you very much.
