My name is Abbie Murphy and I have been selected to take part in the Malawi 2018 expedition with Gleniffer High School. As part of the expedition, a group senior pupils, we will travel to Malawi and refurbish class room blocks to further improve the school facilities for the children of Dzenza Primary School so that they can learn in a safe environment. Currently it is not uncommon for children to be taught outside in the open as the classrooms are too unsafe to be used.

We will be continuing the good work started by the groups who travelled to Dzenza in 2014 and 2016 from Gleniffer High School. Research shows that education is the best route out of poverty. This a very worth while project, helping to improve school facilities for hundreds of school children in one of the poorest countries in the world.

As part of the expedition experience, participants have to fund raise the cost so if you feel that this is a worthwhile cause any donation of any amount would be greatly appreciated.
