Story
We are a rural village in North Devon, with a play space that needs a bit of attention! Our old playground equipment was dangerous and outdated, and we are hoping to install new, safe and fun equipment to provide a much-needed space for all the people who come to the park.
The adjacent primary school uses the park after school, with upwards of 50 children playing in it on a daily basis. The nearby Pre school also makes good use of the space as part of their sessions. The weekly toddler group also play there. The park is a bright, green space in the heart of the village to meet, socialise and play safely. We installed part one of our new design in August 2016, and are looking to complete the transformation in the Spring.

The members of the Abbotsham Village Hall Committee would like to provide a safe, welcoming and fun space for their village community, and adjacent to the Hall is the playground where new equipment would make a huge difference to the children that come daily to play in the park.
