On the 6th of December I will be sleeping rough for the night in Englands’ sub-zero, temperamental weather. I am doing this to raise awareness of the significant number of homeless people in England, but more specifically, Sheffield.

I am looking to raise money to put on an event for a final year project at university to support the CATHEDRAL ARCHER PROJECT. I will be experiencing what homeless people have to go through on a daily bases. Christmas is a time when the UK is its coldest but also most festive. Where we all wrap up warm and celebrate the Christmas period with our families, however it is one of the hardest months for homeless people.

CATHEDRAL ARCHER PROJECT is a charity that aims to help homeless people achieve a better life by supporting them to:

- Develop independence
- Improve their ability to tackle setbacks
- Improve their ability to identify and change negative behaviour
- Improve wellbeing
Like many of you reading this I have been fortunate enough to have a supportive and loving family. However there are a significant number of people who aren’t as fortunate as us.
