I've raised £1000 to A charity expedition to India to build a greenhouse for the local people so they can have a sustainable food source.

Next year (July 2019) I will be going on an India Himalaya trip with other students from my school to help build a greenhouse for the local people so they can have a continuous food source. The trip cost £4000, which I am still in the process of paying with my pocket money, birthday/Christmas money and earnings from my part time job. The reason for my fundraising is to try and raise the extra £1000 for all the accessories I need to purchase to make the trip possible, e.g: sleeping bag, protective clothing, inoculations, rucksack, etc.
This will be the trip of a lifetime for me as I have not travelled outside of the UK very much. I enjoy helping people and when this opportunity arose I pestered my parents to let me go. It is a truly worth while cause as the greenhouse will allow the local people to maintain a constant supply of food in often very difficult conditions.
If anyone out there shares my passion to help those who are less fortunate than ourselves and would like to support me in an excellent life-time experience I would be extremely grateful for any assistance however small, because as my mum keeps telling me 'every penny counts'.
When I signed up to take part, I worked out the finances for the cost of the trip but did not take into account the extras that are essential for me to participate. Now I have less than a year to go, I have realized that I may not be able to earn the required amount needed. Therefore I am having to ask for donations from others who may share my passion for assisting others and maintaining a sustainable food supply.
If anyone can help, either with trekking equipment or a donation I would be extremely grateful.
