Hi,

Im 17 and have started this cause in aid of my Nan who last week was a victim of fraud. My Nan was told that her cards had been cloned and she had to withdraw all of her money out of the bank. Later a “police man” arrived at her house and took it off of her with the promise she would get it back. We now know that these people tricked her and in fact were not police and all of her money is gone.

She is distraught. As an 86 year old that lives alone I can imagine this experience was very traumatic for her and I find it sickening that people can be so evil to commit these crimes, especially to a vulnerable member of our society.

My Nan is such a strong person and an inspiration to me. I was devastated when I found out about this as she now has nothing. I want to help her get some security again, £1000 is just a fraction of what she has lost but every little helps. Any donations will go directly to her enabling her to buy necessary items such as food and heating.
