For 4 years now i have been unable to work due to a massive deteriation in my health. I was diagnosed with Fibromayglia, hypermobility, depression & anxiety in September '17 after months of trips to the hospital as i was adament that I felt like I was dying. Unfortuantly I was diagnosed with a issue that has no cure. It wasn't something I wanted to hear at the age of 23 with a 2 yr old. Due to my brain fog, constant severe pain, ringing in my ears, burning sensations, light, smell, touch & hearing sensitivity, chronic fatigue, intense muscle spasms, irritable bowel and bladder, rapid mood changes, poor eyesight, numbness & several more symptoms that are unprectiable, intense and near enough impossible to subside with the 'pain releif' tablets im on it left my partner in a position where he had to help me out a lot...especially with our little girl.
I feel I've lost my identity and title of a mother because of it all and I have become a burden to my family as my partner lost his job due to it all which means the only income we have is universal credit and child benefit. But after our outgoings were left with very little money and that is to buy food for the whole month. Our outgoings are bigger than our income and I feel im being punished for something I can't control. I feel very misunderstood as pip and u.c dont seem to grasp that my symptoms are never not there and can worsen and leave me bed bound for days for just doing the simplest things. I'm currently waiting for a tribunal date for PIP but this is a long process and it leaves me stressing over as it has left me in debt trying to provide for my family. Stress is a big trigger for flare ups & I would really appreciate anyone's help in these hard times for myself & my family. I'm wanting to seek private help also to open more options medically so i can deal with my health better or find an underlying issue for why im getting these symptoms.
