Story

My name is Dr. Abdoulie Sanneh the chair of The United Voice of African Associations (TUVAA). TUVAA is fundraising for the final year African medical students from Ukraine whose education had been disrupted by the war . They fled Ukraine and left behind them everything including their laptops and clothes. These 4 traumatised students arrived in Southampton last night looking for counseling, food, toiletries and accommodation. As they were originally from Namibia they did not have major restrictions entering the UK. A big thank you to Natasha and Doreen for getting them from Ukraine to Safety. As I introduced them to the mayor and the city at the Guildhall Square today, now it is our turn to provide them shelter, clothes, toiletries, food and laptops to get them back online to finish their courses. Your donation will help them get back on their feet and help them complete their degree to become qualified medical doctors. Please donate whatever you can. We prefer cash but if you choose to donate in kind get in touch a_sanneh@hotmsil.co.uk.
