We started ABERDAM whilst on a mission to help make our home city of Aberdeen a better place. The love and support since we started has been nothing short of incredible, especially on social media❤️ With such support though, we feel a responsibility to use it for the good of the city as much as we can. This got us thinking about what we could do to help those less fortunate this Christmas…

We’ve decided to commit our time on Christmas Day to making and delivering food parcels for those in need within our community🎁

We are appealing to our fellow Aberdonians to nominate anyone in the city who they feel needs or deserves a festive food parcel to lift their spirits or get them through an expensive and, for many - very difficult time of the year.

Do you know:

• A family struggling to put food on the table this Xmas?

• An elderly friend or relative spending the day alone?

• Someone who is perhaps vulnerable and isolating?

• A mum or dad dreading spending their first Xmas by themselves?

Whatever the reason, you can nominate someone in need by emailing in complete confidence their first name, address and a contact number (for delivery purposes only) to aberdamappeal@gmail.com

We’ll include a handwritten Christmas card, so please specify in your email if you wish to remain anonymous or have your name to be added to it so they know who it’s from!💌

Fellow Local Food/Drink Businesses: Join us and donate food or drink items which we can include in these packages! Please get in touch via DM.

The Public: We have set up this Just Giving page to accept donations which will help cover basic costs to deliver this, such as packaging, fuel, Xmas cards, Just Giving fees etc.

NO time will be paid from this and all additional proceeds above the necessary costs will be donated to our two chosen charities:
