Story

I am writing on behalf of International Latin Fusion Ltd (ILF) based in Aberdeen, Scotland. ILF was formed in early 2016 with the sole purpose of organising and promoting Latin dance events in the city. We are a community focused organisation encouraging local people to get engaged, socially and physically active, meet people and make new friends.
Given Aberdeen’s role as a multicultural and diverse city we are taking a step further and organising a big weekend long international event from 20-22 September 2019 at the Hallmark Hotel in Dyce.  This would be the third edition of its kind of event in the City. The Festival will have over 60 dancing workshops including Salsa, Bachata, Kizomba, Afrohoouse and Semba with famous dance teachers from UK and across the world.
Our main aim is to support and increase interest in Latin-Afro dancing in Aberdeen in particular and as whole in Scotland. This will help raise Aberdeen profile as social and cultural capital of Scotland, promote diversity, bringing international fame, support business, bringing new skills for long term prosperity.
We do believe that dancing is one of the best way of socialising which has a positive impact on people’s lives, improving physical and mental health and wellbeing and help to support others who are in need.
With all this in mind we are looking for support to promote this event city wide and any possible funding or donations you may have to help us to support the event. This event will also help promote Aberdeen City’s corporate plans and policies on children and Local Outcome Improvement Plan objectives as a prosperous people.
We would really appreciate your help in this regard.
