Aberhafesp and Trefeglwys Young Farmers Clubs have teamed up once again this year to hold an Illuminated Tractor Run on Saturday 13th December, in aid of Velindre Cancer Centre and the Alzheimer’s Society.

The route will start at Cae Hafren, Llanidloes, and will light up the streets of Llanidloes, Trefeglwys, Caersws, Aberhafesp, Newtown, Tregynon and Bettws. Timings for each location can be found on the poster below.

Please join us at one of these locations for this highly anticipated event. If you enjoy the display and would like to support the two charities, our stewards will have donation duckets available in each village and town. If you're unable to donate in person, you can also contribute on this page. Any donations, big or small, will be hugely appreciated.

The Tractor Run is raising money for:

• Velindre Cancer Centre - to show the support of the community for those who are being supported by the charity. Velindre, the Hospital of Hope, has been providing specialist treatment and supportive care to cancer patients and families for over 65 years. Money raised for Velindre Charity helps fund ground breaking research and clinical trials, cutting edge treatments, specialist nurses, support services, therapies, equipment and so much more which are above those provided by the NHS – so donations really do have a significant impact on patients and their families.

• Alzheimer’s Society - The UK’s leading dementia charity. Many families within our clubs are affected by this cruel disease. Donations help families that are affected with caring needs, social support, advice and enables the charity to carry out groundbreaking research. The charity is there to help those individuals suffering as well as those around them. Your donation will allow the Alzheimer’s Society to continue their wonderful work.
