I'm raising £500 to walk more and more everyday to help with my recovery from major spinal neurosurgery 🏥

Story

I am Abi, a 19 year old student physio and athlete with Spinabifida. Last month, I went into hospital to have my spinal cord untethered for the 2nd time in my life...

They put me on bed rest for 5 days and was discharged 2 days later. Unfortunately, I ended up back in the hospital with a massive infection not long later, meaning that I had to go in again to remove all the dead tissue and have a strong course of IV antibiotics (history repeated itself, the same thing happened when I was 8 months old) 😔

I am raising money for my organisation, the Paine Foundation, which is an organisation that allows female footballers with disabilities to play without barriers. It removes the grey area that I found myself in for most of my life, and running it alone means that costs are high and fundraising dependent 💵

For this campaign, I pledge to walk 100 more steps in a row every day (within reason) to help build my endurance and get back to university on time in September 😀

Anything is appreciated, even if you only donate a pound! The money will go a long way to ensure I can maintain pitch hire and subsidise more for my players ❤️

This is not the way I wanted to spend my summer, but if I can make the best out of it then that is what I will do.

Thank you all so much <3
