In 2012, at the age of 14, my brother suffered a spinal stroke. This has left him ventilated and paralysed from the neck down. He now needs help and assistance from 24 hour care, as well as specialised equipment, in order to live as normal life as he can.

Joe’s last family holiday was in 2011. I would dearly like to raise money to help take Joe away on holiday, something he has not been able to do since before his stroke. My family and I would love to be able to take Joe on a 7 day cruise next year. All money raised will go towards providing accommodation, travel expenses and food for the 5 carers needed, which my family has to fund, as well as ensuring we have all the correct equipment to help him.
