Story
We have been volunteering with Warrington Wolves Young Trustees since 2014. Throughout these years, we have been given many opportunities to work with young people through Youth Groups and Holiday Camps; this has led us to want to further our volunteer work to the wider community.
In May 2018, the Warrington Wolves Young Trustees will be setting off on an expedition to a rural village in Kenya, where we will work with the Memusi Foundation in their local school. Within the week that we will be there, we will lead sessions in sports, arts and crafts and many other valuable experiences for both ourselves and the children that we will work with.
It would be easy to just say that we would pay for our flights, but part of our mission is that we will put a huge effort into raising the money for ourselves over the coming months and have a range of activities planned in the lead up to the trip. The first of these is the Colour Run on Saturday 1st July, which is something that is usually out of our 'comfort zone'. So, we are on our mission to raise £600 each for this experience.
If you could support us in this venture, no matter how big or how small, we will greatly appreciate every penny that is donated.
Thank you in advance
Abigail and Amelia
