I've raised £50000 to Support Abigail's Spinal Surgery & Recovery

(Update)
Thank you so much to everybody who read Abigail's story and donated so generously to her cause. It is with deep sadness that we inform you that Abigail is no more. She passed away late Christmas Eve due to complications arising from her injuries. She leaves behind her husband Tendai and her three beautiful children Matthew (15) and twins Joshua (9) and Michaela (9). We continue to pray for strength, peace and courage for the family at this difficult time. She will be sorely missed by many.
The funds raised to date will be put towards outstanding medical bills in keeping with our initial plea.
We thank you for you humanity and kindness.
(Initial Plea)
Loving wife and mum to three children (eldest 15, twins 9) Abigail Mujaji (nee Gorova) and three of her sisters were involved in a car accident enroute from Johannesburg to her late father’s memorial ceremony in Zimbabwe.
As you can imagine, it’s been an incredibly difficult time for us as a family. Thankfully there were no fatalities but the vehicle they were in veered off the road and flipped three times, resulting in Abigail sustaining very serious spinal and skull injuries requiring emergency hospital treatment in a high dependency unit.
Abigail’s spinal and back-related injuries have left her with no mobility from the waist down, and she requires specialist surgery and specialist post operative care to aid her recovery as best as possible.
Having scrambled to put together what little we had to get Abigail hospitalised, our family would be grateful for any support you can spare through a donation to help fund Abigail’s back and spinal operation costs which cost in total £50000.
This includes hospital, theatre and doctor fees as well as post operation hospital stay, treatment and care, medication and forward specialist rehabilitation physiotherapy.
Thank you for your humanity and kindness in dignifying the life of Abigail and our family.
