Story

We are a team of friends and colleagues who have challenged each other to a gruelling series of challenges to help a loved one.

The team from Abode Architecture in Manchester, is pulling together to raise money so that we can adapt a house for a colleague’s sister who suffered a stroke at the age of just 32.

Stephen (pictured right on the photo) has a sister, Sam, who is also a childhood friend of Peter’s (pictured centre). Sam tragically suffered a stroke 18 months ago which has had a life-changing impact on her.

The challenges will test us to the limits and will include triathlons and marathons, culminating in the Staffordshire Ironman 70.3 in June 2019.

Because this cause is so dear to our hearts, we have pledged to match the first donations to a total of £5,000.

Ironman 70.3 Staffordshire consists of a 1.2-mile swim in Chasewater reservoir, a 56-mile bike course through the stunning countryside, followed by a 13.1-mile run from Riverway to Stafford Town Centre before finishing in Market Square.

If you want to take a look at what’s in store for the ironman feel free to take a look at the video!!

We thank you in advance for your support and we will keep you updated along the way!
