Above and Beyond is a community interest company set up by two youth workers with nearly 60 years of experience of working troubled, difficult and vulnerable youngsters.
If there is one thing that they have learnt it is that the great outdoors makes a great difference to the temperament, skills and knowledge of the young people they work with.
Sitting in wood with a fire burning and a marshmallow toasting is something that these young people have never experienced.
We all know the best cuppa or hot chocolate we have ever experienced is the one you make yourself on a camp fire.
We want to be able to teach young people a little Bush Craft, a little on how to appreciate the environment around them, and hopefully this will encourage them to pass this knowledge on to their own families and children.
We want to be able to inspire young people to learn through experiencing the Great Outdoors.
We want to enable young people to reflect on the issues in their lives through a safe outdoor environment, working in partnership with adults they can trust.
We want young people to experience a little time away from the stress of their urban lives, we want young people to be happy and engage.
Please help us to raise enough money to make this happen.
Thank you in advance and please share with you networks.
