Story

In the developing world young people struggle to be positive and productive members of society. This is mostly caused by the severe poverty that has struck communities all over the world. Poor access to adequate education means most young people are cursed with a future of unemployment which then increases the chances of generational poverty. We believe in a world where every child, boy or girl should have access to the all the tools to build a great future for themselves. We believe that young people are the core of the community and we should invest in them all our time and resources for they are the future.

Sport is a big part of todays society, especially football; and there is a lot of talented young people who will never get the chance to showcase their skills on any stage because of where they are born. This is unfair. Most of us grew up in the same communities like the one you see in the above picture. Most people born in 3rd world countries and live in the developed world can recognize the potential young people would have if they had even close to the same access to facilities, equipment and training.

Beneficiaries: The team you see above is a team based in Nkulumane, Bulawayo in Zimbabwe. They go by the name "Siyaphambili FC", which means they are a work in progress or they are moving forward.

Reasons For Funds: I am going to Zimbabwe on a sponsorship trip in December. My trip will last 4 weeks from 17th December to 17th January. I plan to purchase and ship some football equipment to be sponsored to this team. I would also like to host a football match and a family day out while i am there. This will show people in the community that they are not forgotten and they are receiving the support from every one of us.

This is where the team plays their games.
