Story
Salaam,
I hope everyone is having a blessed Ramadan inshallah. As the last 10 nights have finally approached, there is no other perfect time to give charity than now!
Abdul-Bari Sahidunnessa (ABS) Academy is our family run orphanage/madrasah that has been built and created in the memory of my late grandparents, Mohammed Abdul Bari and Shahidunnessa Khatun. May Allah have mercy on their souls and grant them Jannatul Firdous, Ameen.

Built in 2010, it is a residential orphanage in Syhlet, Bangladesh providing educational, recreational, cultural and Islamic education. This academy has been created to fulfill my grand dads wish which was to educate and help orphans in Bajithpur, Syhlet. Currently we have approximately 40 students in our academy and Alhamdulilah they have all either started their Hifz program or have completed it to become Huffadhs (memorisers of the Quran). We also have 3 qualified Hafiz teachers and 1 cook to take care of the children. As it is a hostel as well, students in ABS academy are provided with all their necessary needs such as food, shelter, clothes and etc. They are provided with breakfast, lunch, dinner, tea breaks and snacks everyday. We also provide excellent Islamic education which will benefit them in the Akhirah.

We also hold Hifz graduation ceremonies, to recognize and celebrate the achievement and hard work that these students have put in in order to become a Hafiz.

As ABS academy is not only a madrasah/orphanage, but a charity organisation too, we try our best to reach out to other less fortunate people in different villages and support them as much as we can. Every couple of months we organise and provide a free medical camp to help those in need. In addition, due to the recent corona-virus outbreak, we have also distributed food packages to less fortunate families around the village.

However this academy and charity organisation will only continue to run with your support and donations Inshallah. As this madrasah is located in a poor area, it struggles with running costs therefore we are unable to take in as many students as we can. We are therefore reaching out to the beloved Ummah of the Prophet Muhammad (saw), all of you, to help us raise enough funds to help maintain this Madrasah and help provide quality care and education for all the orphans.
Inshallah, with more money being raised, we would like to expand it and allow more orphans to reside and become Huffadhs of the Quran in our academy. We have recently also bought a new plot of land next to the orphanage so that we could build a girls only madrasah to accommodate more orphans. Your money will go towards helping these orphans and less fortunate families to have a better quality of life. This will only be possible if you could all kindly donate towards our charity. Allah (swt) has given you all this perfect chance to donate and help these orphans succeed into becoming Huffadhs (memorisers of the Quran). For every verse they read, you will be rewarded by Allah (swt) Inshallah.
No donation is small in the eyes of Allah, so please donate as much as you can to this great cause. Even £1 can help us come a long way so please don't miss out on this reward! If you are unable too, please at least share this around to your friends and families so they can donate Inshallah.
Please feel free to contact me if you have more queries about our family run charity and where your money will go specifically.
Zakah, Fitrah and Hifz sponsorship programs are all eligible under our charity.
We urgently need all your help and support in order for this charity to grow and reach out to more less fortunate people.
Jazakallah.
From, Naureen (granddaughter) and the family of Late Hajji Mohammed Abdul Bari.
