Story

To celebrate things slowly returning to ‘normal’ (whatever that means) and to lose all the excess weight accumulated over the lockdown period I have decided to cycle from Land’s End to London. I will be leaving London on Sunday 12th of July on a train to Penzance then cycling to Land’s End. Once there I will be trying to navigate my way back home on my battered but trusted bicycle! The journey will take me through narrow lanes, busy roads, and thigh-busting hills. I will be sleeping in camping fields and breathing in fresh country air. One downside, though, is I will be saying goodbye in London to four adorable foster kittens I watched being born and grow into amazing confident cats, who will be going to their loving forever homes. Their lives could have been very different if their semi-feral mother was not rescued from a colony on a London estate by the charity Feline Friends London.

I will be raising money for Feline Friends London to help them help more stray, ill, and unwanted cats in the capital. Small charities like Feline Friends London rely heavily on donations, and they will be very grateful for your support especially now, when things are so difficult. The COVID-19 pandemic has made things tight for everyone, but it would be wonderful if those who can do contribute a few pounds to help this wonderful charity to continue their valuable work.
