The A.C.M.U. Society is pleased to announce the first targeted fundraiser of the new society and the first for 315856 since arriving at the LMMR.

We are pleased to confirm we have an agreement with the railway for DMS 64571 to be shunted undercover into the workshop at Llanelli for a small period in January 2026 to allow a programme of structured work on the vehicle to begin.

We are aiming to raise £1000 towards the cost of moving the vehicle, tools and equipment, which will allow us to undertake vital repairs to the roof and other areas not usually accessible when the vehicle is stored outside.

We have up to £500 of match funding secured from an anonymous donor, so for every £1 you give £2 will go in the fund.
