Story

Wow, what a year! Coronavirus really changed everything and has presented us with so many challenges.

Even so, our story over the last 12 months is that we have provided nearly 3,000 food parcels mainly to residents of B27 and surrounding areas, we have also helped families in the wider Yardley district.

Our fantastic team of volunteers turn up week after week, throughout this year collecting and dating and storing food, packing new packs for people, keeping records, and showing a smiley face =)

Thanks to your generous giving of food and money we have been able to increase storage facilities, and continue to operate on Tuesdays and Fridays serving anyone from the B27 or surrounding areas. We have a non-referral needed policy and welcome anyone in need.

You can help by:

1. Giving a cash donation so we can purchase items as necessary.

2. Buying items of food (tinned or dried) and donating them directly to the AGFB on Tuesday/Friday morning or to Morrisons in Acocks Green. We have an abundance of pasta but we are always short of coffee and milk and tinned meat products like meatballs, tuna etc

Even though we are separated and isolated physically, we have an opportunity during this time of crisis, to join together to make a difference especially to those who need help the most. Thank you so much for making a difference.
