Weʼre raising £11,500 to fund 6 Acorn Healing Hubs in 2022

Story

Acorn has already established the concept of Healing Hubs - a small group of dedicated christians who will pray and work together to provide a place for others to come to receive healing prayer and ministry in Jesus’ name. To our ministry team - previously based at Whitehill Chase - we have added 12 new team members to establish the Surrey Healing Hub, which hosts its first public meeting on November 13th - details can be found on our website and we have a hub coming together in Gosport. But we need to start more hubs and see them spread around the UK and to also have a Digital Healing Hub, where people can still receive prayer and ministry online - wherever they are. We even have the option to start a few overseas.

So what does this mean for us all?

Each member of a Healing Hub team will need to complete the Healing Academy training course, because we want to ensure that they are fully equipped and appropriately prepared. Each session costs £32 per person and there are 10 monthly sessions, so to complete the course costs £320. To train 6 people to start a Healing Hub will cost £1920 and we have the capacity to start 6 hubs in 2022 across the UK which will cost us £11,520 to train and prepare them. You and a group of friends might like to fund a Healing Hub or start one yourself.

Just think about it. A gift of £320 would not only transform the life of an individual team member, but the lives of all those they would minister to on an ongoing basis. A gift of around £1900 would mean that an entire Healing Hub could be trained and launched within the year and those in need of healing - body, mind and spirit - in an area previously untouched by the healing ministry of Jesus, would have access and opportunity for healing prayer and ministry. You can also choose to donate £8, which will enable one Acorn trainee to attend an evening training session.

We write gratefully and humbly to ask if you would consider joining Acorn and the team in this new approach. If we charged for training at all the healing hubs there are many who would not be able to join us, because of finance, and we would miss out on a rich Kingdom resource. They would reach people we never will, but if we could resource them, then heaven could touch the earth.
