Mark worked in various logistics roles throughout his career. He was a massive sports fan and while travelling in Sri Lanka he asked why the kids swapped pads and gloves when changing over. When he found out this was due to no equipment being available. He returned to the UK, contacted local schools and clubs for their spare kit and consolidated this into a container. The container was provided and shipped by Allport Cargo Services to Sri Lanka filled with bats, balls, pads and other equipment which was then distributed with the help of our Partner, Speedmark. Cancer struck him down in August 2017, aged just 44. Mark was larger than life character and fondly remembered by all who knew him.
