I've raised £1000 to help Active and In Touch, Frome to prevent people from becoming isolated from the community

My dad is the chairman of a small charity called Active and In Touch, Frome.
The charity works with isolated and lonely individuals in and around Frome. The charities volunteers visit, help and befriend people who have become isolated or out of touch with the community around them, connecting them to vital services to improve their quality of life. The charity has a growing bank of around 40 volunteers directly working with over 80 individuals. The impact of this work in a rural environment is stark.
Donate now to give one more person a stepping stone out of isolation.
The Charity needs £6,500 by the end of March 2018 in order to secure their work for 2018-2019. Every little will help!!!

On a side note: My dad is one of the most inspirational people I know. He has terminal cancer and amidst trips to the hospital he has been volunteering for Active and In Touch supporting various isolated old people in Frome with weekly visits, helping them with their medical care, keeping them connected and not experiencing the effects of isolation and neglect and finding their place in the community. He also took on the responsibility of forming the charity, raising funds etc.
I'm fundraising to support this amazing man and to support Active and In Touch so that they can help more isolated people. I think we all recognise that loneliness and isolation are big problems in society. Not everyone has the time to volunteer to help others, but I hope maybe you can spare a few pounds to go towards this good cause.
