Story
Main outline
We are planning a trip to Africa to help the African Lion by contributing to the conservation of the iconic African Lion project by being volunteers.
Problems
In Africa there is a large threat to animals due to poaching and loss of habitat with them being hunted for their skin and sometimes for just the pure "pleasure of hunting". This is very inhumane and we wish to help see an end to this.
Here’s what we’re doing about it
We will be watching lions and making sure they are all healthy and are safe from hunters and traps. We will be looking after orphan lions as well that we hope we can introduce into the wild soon as well.
It is going to help out the local community and the conservation of lions. We are starting off in a small area but every little bit of help we give can make a big difference. We need to do everything we can help people and the conservation of the wildlife around the people and give them a chance of survival as well.
You can help us by
We want to raise £4500 so that we are able to get to Africa and be able to help in the local community and protect the African wildlife in any way we can and stop the Lion from becoming an increasingly rare sight.
We are hoping to raise money in as many different ways as possible including running a raffle, organising a big school disco and working extra hours at our jobs to raise as much money as possible.
